Homecoming 2005

After a week of theme parties, ridiculous costumes and debachery, I was sitting in the endzone during the first quarter of the WSU-UCLA game. UCLA was undefeated but now they were staring at a 21-0 deficit against the cougs. Even with the score 21 to nill I still had that sick feeling in my gut that we were going to somehow lose this game. Then, when Maurice Drew dove into the endzone at the end of overtime and the Bruin fightsong started playing, I looked up at a 41-44 final score and for some reason I think I knew it was going to happen the whole time. It's really tough being a cougar fan. No other team can be up two scores going into the fourth quarter knowing they're going to lose.
